Tyler Tullis needed a book cover illustration for a new personal writing project.

The theme was centered around a mysterious old lookout in the PNW.

To get the right vibe for the cover, I generated a visual mood board of images. Once we both agreed on the mood board, I then created a few different versions of the cover, finally settling on the cover you see below.

I created the illustration in Illustrator, based off a sketch in Procreate, then applied some grunge and gradients to the design for the final touch.
